Day 2 of 15

Todays weigh in was late again sorry…231lbs. I do feel good and and I was able to get to bed at midnight, I usually go to bed at 2/3am so midnight is good. I slept well but had trouble waking up as usual (thats thyroid related). On with the food...

Wake up:

8-12oz hot lemon water with ginger

My thoughts: "I skipped the ginger this morning, it was pretty strong yesterday. This is still a nice drink to wake up to."





Breakfast:
Berry apple cinnamon bake
1/2c berries (I used frozen blueberries)
1 apple
1 1/2tbsp raisins
1/2tsp cinnamon
1/2tsp nutmeg (I used allspice, ran out of nutmeg)
coconut oil to grease pan

My thoughts: " Seriously this is like a dessert, so good!"




Morning snack:
Celery pear cucumber green juice
1 cucumber
3 celery stalks
1 medium pear
3 handfuls of kale

My thoughts: "Very good! Clean tasting!"




Lunch:
Kale avocado salad 
2 handfuls kale
1/2 handful red cabbage
1/2 tomato
1/4 avocado
1/4c olive oil
1/2tbsp vinegar
1/2tbsp honey
1/4tsp dried basil
2 cloves garlic
salt and pepper

My thoughts: " I had this yesterday too and I still need to use less garlic lol! Otherwise its super good!"




Raw carrot ginger soup
1 1/2c carrot juice (10 carrots)
1/2 avocado
1tbsp honey
1/2tbsp ginger
pinch cayenne pepper
salt
1tbsp olive oil
1tbsp cilantro

My thoughts: "I did not even finish this, I just don't care for soup, especially with no texture. It didn't taste bad but I just couldn't do it lol!"




Afternoon snack:
Celery pear cucumber green juice
1 cucumber
3 celery stalks
1 medium pear
3 handfuls kale

My thoughts: "Still good!"




Dinner:
Green detox soup
1/2tbsp olive oil
1/4 leek
1/2 cloves garlic
1/4 head broccoli
1 1/2 kale leaves
1/2 zucchini
1/2 celery stalks
1/4quarts vegetable stalk
parsley
salt and pepper

My thoughts: "This was supposed to be a soup but after not liking the carrot soup I decided to not puree the ingredients and just lightly cook them in some vegetable stock in a pan. I also used less olive oil and did not use the leeks as I have no clue how to cook them lol! This is very yummy like this and I love parsley so yeah!"




Roasted acorn squash stuffed with mushroom and sage
1/2 acorn squash
salt and pepper
3tbsp olive oil
1 garlic
1/2 portabella mushroom
1/2 onion
1tsp sage
red pepper flakes

My thoughts: "LOVED this!!! It was so yummy, probably the best thing of the day!"




Before bed:

Herbal tea

My thoughts: "Still love tea lol!"
